Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using NarraScribe, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using NarraScribe on behalf of a clinic or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of service

NarraScribe is an AI-assisted clinical documentation platform that converts therapist shorthand notes into structured clinical documentation. The service is intended for use by licensed mental health professionals and their authorized administrative staff.

3. Clinician responsibility

NarraScribe generates documentation drafts that must be reviewed, edited, and approved by the licensed clinician of record before submission. You acknowledge that:

You agree to use NarraScribe only in a manner consistent with HIPAA requirements applicable to your practice. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary patient authorizations and for maintaining your own HIPAA compliance program.

6. Subscription and payment

NarraScribe is offered on a subscription basis. Fees are billed monthly or annually as selected at signup. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 30 days before the renewal date. Setup fees are non-refundable.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, you may export your clinical notes for a period of 30 days. After this period, data will be deleted in accordance with our retention policy.

8. Limitation of liability

NarraScribe is not liable for any clinical outcomes, insurance claim denials, or regulatory actions arising from the use of AI-generated documentation. The service is a documentation tool — clinical judgment remains entirely with the licensed practitioner.
